Job Roles
Group decided to split the class into 3 groups. (One group does the title sequence while the other two groups does the inserts) We discussed and assigned everyone to their roles.
We took a tour around the college and took notes of what the four faculties are.
-          Suggested some ideas
-          Prepared a list of questions to ask our clients.
Took notes of our ideas and created a list of questions to ask the client.
Meeting the client
Client comes in to give more details about the event. She tells us what she wants for the event and we asked questions as well as give suggestions on what we should do for the event and if we are permitted to use any of the college’s facilities. (E.g. room availability, Equipment’s available.)
Took notes of what the client wanted from us.
Confirming with the client
Client comes in at 3:30pm to confirm the ideas and suggestions. We wanted to create a minute montage, or 2-3 minutes with voiceover interviews. The title sequence covers the students and the things they interact with. As a class we decided to have a pre-screening to show to David (Client) and see what he thinks. With the music the client wants a track that reflects the scene and tempo of the visuals (Lyrics must be related to the visuals as well).
We suggested closing credits at the end of the show and highlights.
Ran through our groups and roles of the production.
Prepared some questions before confirming anything with the client.
After meeting with the client, we got into groups (some of us individual work) and began to plan our inserts, sequences, music etc.
