Panning Shot

Panning is a photographic technique when the photography wants to freeze the motion of moving objects. You can tell when a panning shot is taken of its design: the moving object is in sharp focus while the background is blurry.

Step 1: Make sure that your camera setting is on Manual mode (M) on the selection dial.

Step 2: adjusting the shutter speed is important. set your shutter speed to a lower speed that you would typically use, your shutter speed will depend on your subject and the speed that it is moving.
(Start out by setting up your speed at 1/30th)

Step 3You want to begin panning before you take the shots. This will ensure a smooth and even pan, which will give you a nice, sharp photograph. After you take the shots you want to continue the panning movement.
